Welcome to Henley Green Medical Centre

We are experiencing technical difficulties with our phone system. Please bear with us.

      Thank you

You may have seen in national news items that the Government are considering extending the vaccine offer to 16 - 17-year-olds.

There is nothing you need to do now - you will be contacted and invited for your vaccination as soon as the programme is up-and-running.

We are currently waiting for the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to update and publish

We are also currently awaiting guidance on the vaccination of 12 - 17-year-old clinically vulnerable children and will be in touch as and when we have further information.

We have a new appointment system, where all appointments will now be offered when our phone lines open at 8:00am Mon - Fri

We no longer offer appointments at 14:00pm

The building has dedicated clinical areas and plenty of parking, with all the clinicians practicing together in one location.  We thank you for your patience as we strive to offer the best care. We realize that change can be difficult, but we hope to make the transition as smooth as possible for you. Our staff will be there to help.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.  Our doors are open and Covid Restrictions still apply.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

The surgery will now be taking bookings for the COVID-19 vaccine. We will be in contact with patients to book them in. The NHS have set out a priority list , with everyone over the age of 80 and health care workers being booked in first. These vaccinations will be taking place at the North Warwickshire Sports Club, Binley Road, Coventry, CV3 1HB.

Due to new Government Guidelines, All GPs Surgeries will require everyone, including Staff, to wear a face covering.

Patients requesting an appointment with a doctor will be offered telephone or face to face appontments (subject to availability).  If they request a telephone appointment they will be asked for a telephone number and put on the doctor's list and the doctor will call them back and assess their needs. The patient will then be offered appropriate treatment, an appointment, a prescription or a referral. If a patient requests a face to face appointment they will be asked who they require the appointment with ie doctor or nurse.  They will then be offered the next available appointment.

Patients who do not have a telephone or are unable to take calls will be given an appointment with one of the doctors.

We are now taking Online Registrations. Please click HERE

Message from The Practice Manager

Dear Patients,
It is with a heavy heart as a Practice Manager that I have to be sending this message to our patients.  Covid is still with us and the team at Henley Green Medical Centre have been doing an amazing job.  We are one of the many surgeries in the local area who did not shut their doors to patients, this was able to happen because of the team we have here.

Over the past few months some of my staff have been shouted out and verbally abused by patients, to have members of my team in floods of tears because of this I find as their manager very upsetting.  Whilst I understand that patients are worried and concerned, at no point have we never not given a patient an appointment,  it is just we now have to run a Dr First system.  This is an appointment system where the appointment will be done via the telephone or video but of course if the doctor feels they need to see you, a face to face appointment will be arranged at the doctors discretion and not receptionists.  Our nursing team run a combination of face to face and telephone appointments as their work requires a mix of both.

So to our patients we are still open and you can still get medical attention albeit in a slightly different way.  Patient care is at the forefront of everything we do, our staff are working extremely hard to ensure you receive safe and high quality healthcare and also a safe dispensing service.  Please do not shout or raise your voices to our staff, as a surgery we find this unacceptable and we want our staff to be treated with the same kindness and empathy we offer to our patients.  So please we ask you to work with us during this most difficult and strange of times.

Thank You

Davinder Gill
